"Quick Mum hide in that bush the enemy are coming. We will get them." says Ella.
"Onto our horses...gallop, gallop, gallop" shouts Jamie.
"Fire on my torches gone Mum" worries Corey.
"You are safe now Mum but watch out." reassures Ella.
"Those smaller yellow bushes are the enemy and only need 2-3 shots from my bow and arrow but the bigger enemy need about 25." explains Ella.
"Oh no here come more enemy from over there." yells Jamie.
On the move again through the woods. Safely surrounded by Knight Jamie, Knight Corey and Dame Ella.

Howdy crew... sounds like you are all enjoying the pace of home schooling with plenty of time to explore... no doubt you are all greatly missed back in Aotearoa but what an opportunity! Keep the posts up - loving the pix as well. Rebecca- hope you manage to find a couple of good keen women to have a conversation with often so you get to see the English life from within... I agree with George Ford - these post and pix should be collated into a book - you can do that on the internet tooo! Get Poni to ring Maxine Van Oosten who had a book put together recently of family pix and it is so professional but easy to do. Big hugs to all from Wattie and Michaela
ReplyDeleteDid I detect a haircut amongst those photos? Corey are still such a handsome gingernut! Where were you for your lastest adventure with the crew? Ella looks so grown up in the tree!! Yes this could all go into a book but as I was reding your lines I thought you may have already started an adventure book you were quoting from.
ReplyDeleteAll my love Grandma and not Granny as young cheeky George seems fit to call me!
